Seamless Floor in Zoetermeer
seamless, in your colour, for years.
We work regularly in Zoetermeer — from terraced houses in Buytenwegh and Meerzicht to new builds in Oosterheem and Noordhove. From our showroom in The Hague-Ypenburg, Zoetermeer centre is an 18-minute drive via the A12. Two product lines: microcement for walls & furniture, Lavasteen Seamless Floor for floors in wet rooms and living rooms.
What we do here — by district
Buytenwegh, Meerzicht & Driemanspolder — 1970s/80s terraced houses
The original growth-Zoetermeer districts from the 1970s/80s. Here we almost always find cement screed floors with underfloor heating from that period — sometimes outdated, sometimes renovated. We measure moisture content and check for cracks from 40 years of use. High renovation demand for modern microcement bathrooms (Pure White, Cement) and Lavasteen living room floors.
Rokkeveen, Seghwaert & Noordhove — 1990s with anhydrite
Districts from the 1990s almost always have anhydrite screed with standard underfloor heating — ideal for our finish. Here we often carry out complete bathroom and kitchen renovations: microcement walls plus Lavasteen floor in the same colour family for visual calm.
Oosterheem, Palenstein-nieuw & Town Centre — new build 2005+
Recent new-build districts with anhydrite and low-temperature underfloor heating. Our 1–2 mm thin build-up conducts heat quickly — no loss of efficiency. In Town Centre we also work in high-rise flats where tile build-up would create thresholds around doorways.
Dorp & City Centre — old core and high-rise
The old village core around Dorpsstraat and Zoetermeer Centre has a mix of 1930s homes and later high-rise. In older homes we pay attention to floor build-up (timber joists or concrete floor); in centre flats we work directly over existing floor for minimal disruption.
Underfloor heating & low temperature — Zoetermeer-specific
Because Zoetermeer new builds almost always have low-temperature underfloor heating, our thin build-up is particularly advantageous: less insulation between heat source and living space. Result: faster warm-up, higher efficiency of heat pump or boiler. Important: anhydrite must be completely dry before we begin (moisture content ≤0.5%).

Questions we often hear in Zoetermeer
How much does a seamless floor cost in Zoetermeer?
DIY kits start at € 155 per 5 m² bucket of microcement, € 235 for Lavasteen Seamless Floor. For professional installation: € 90–150 per m² depending on substrate, colour and surface area. No travel surcharge applies for Zoetermeer.
Does a seamless floor work well with underfloor heating?
Excellent — thanks to the 1–2 mm thin build-up, our finish conducts heat quickly. For low-temperature underfloor heating (as standard in Zoetermeer new-builds), this is particularly advantageous: less insulation between heat source and living space, higher efficiency.
Is anhydrite screed in Zoetermeer new-builds suitable?
Yes, anhydrite is an excellent substrate for our seamless floor — provided it is completely dry. Important: moisture content must be ≤0.5% before we begin. For new-builds, we visit in advance for measurement, so we can coordinate planning with the contractor.
What do you do with old cement screeds from Buytenwegh or Meerzicht?
We measure moisture content (max. 2%), check for cracks from 40 years of use, and repair locally as needed. Where significant cracking has occurred, we use elastic primer to absorb movement. Existing tiles can almost always remain in place.
How long does a Zoetermeer project take?
For a bathroom (5–10 m²): 3–4 working days incl. drying time. For a living room (25–40 m²): 4–5 working days. For larger projects in detached houses or semi-detached properties, 1 week or more.
Do you also come in the evening/weekend for a consultation?
By arrangement, yes, especially for working families. Call +31 (0)85 027 0090 for an appointment; at weekends we usually work only for consultations and colour sample handover, not for installation.
