What is a Lavasteen Seamless Floor?
Lavasteen seamless floor is a 2-component system based on concrete stucco and epoxy: an A-component (base mass with pigment) and a B-component (epoxy hardener).
After mixing, a firm, spreadable paste is created. You pour the material onto the floor or wall and distribute it manually with a trowel. This gives you control over texture, nuance and movement.

Self-application – steps
- Preparation: ensure a stable substrate; use primer where necessary for adhesion.
- Mix the A-component homogeneously. Add the B-component and mix for 2–3 minutes.
- Apply the first coat thinly and smoothly with a trowel. Remove tape and allow to dry for at least 24 hours.
- Apply the second coat: calmly for a smooth finish or vigorously with more movement. This determines the character.
- Allow to cure again for 24 hours. Sand with grit 80: briefly for anti-slip, longer for a smoother result.
- Finish with a PU topcoat to prevent yellowing and for extra protection.
