What is Lavasteen Seamless Floor?
Lavasteen Seamless Floor is a 2-component system based on concrete stucco and epoxy. It consists of an A-component (base mass with pigment) and a B-component (epoxy hardener).
After mixing, a firm, spreadable paste is created. You pour it out and distribute it manually with a trowel. This way, you maintain control over texture and nuance.
A classic, fully self-levelling epoxy resin floor flows out by itself and is less suitable for residential use or underfloor heating. Lavasteen Seamless Floor offers control and residential comfort.

Substrates: adheres to concrete, cement, plaster, wood and MDF. Also applicable on tiles with the correct build-up.
In brief: degrease → coarse primer → seal joints + level with Stucopaste → completely level; then apply the Lavasteen Seamless Floor system. This creates a durable, even base.

With our clear guide, you work step by step towards a professional result. The key steps:
- Prepare the substrate – stable, clean and level; use primer where necessary. Check load-bearing capacity and flatness.
- Mixing – stir component A until homogeneous; add component B and mix for 2–3 minutes. Apply within the pot life.
- Layer 1 – apply thinly and tightly; remove tape; allow to dry for at least 24 hours.
- Layer 2 – choose smooth and even or subtly lively; optionally lightly mist and distribute the "slip layer" with a flexible trowel for extra nuance.
- Curing & sanding – approx. 24 hours curing time; sand with 80-grit. Short = anti-slip, longer = smoother.
- PU topcoat (matte) – apply the protective layer; this fills the texture and preserves the matte appearance.
