What is Lavasteen Seamless Floor?
Lavasteen Seamless Floor is a 2-component system that combines concrete plaster with epoxy for floor and wall.
- A-component: base mass with colour pigment.
- B-component: epoxy hardener.
After mixing, you pour Lavasteen Seamless Floor onto the floor or wall and spread it with a trowel. This allows you to determine structure, movement and nuance. This gives more control than a self-levelling poured floor.

Self-application – steps
Find the manual here
- Prepare: stable substrate; use epoxy primer if necessary.
- Mix A-component until homogeneous. Add B-component and mix for 2–3 minutes.
- Apply the first layer thinly and evenly with a trowel. Remove tape.
- Allow to dry for at least 24 hours; check the flatness.
- Apply the second layer: sleek or lively. This controls the character.
- Allow to cure again for 24 hours. Sand with grit 80: brief = anti-slip, longer = smoother.
- Finish with a PU topcoat for extra protection and a matte look.

What is the difference between Lavasteen Seamless Floor and microcement?
Microcement is cement-based and only waterproof with a PU layer. Lavasteen Seamless Floor is naturally waterproof and, thanks to epoxy + lavasteen, far more scratch-resistant.
