Applications & Substrates
Residential: living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms. Commercial: shops, offices. New build & renovation: sleek, matte and low-maintenance.
Adheres to: concrete, cement, tiles, plaster, wood and MDF. Working over tiles? Level joints and surface with Stucco paste and then use primer for adhesion.
In wet areas the system remains waterproof. Ash is therefore ideal for bathrooms and showers.
Applying Ash yourself – steps.
- Prepare substrate Instructions– stable and level; use primer where necessary.
- Mixing – stir A-component until homogeneous; add B-component and mix for 2–3 minutes.
- Layer 1 – apply thinly and tightly; remove tape; allow to dry for at least 24 hours.
- Layer 2 – choose sleek or vibrant; lightly mist and distribute for nuance.
- Curing & sanding – approx. 24 hours curing; sand with grit 80 (short = anti-slip, longer = smooth).
- PU topcoat (matte) – protects against yellowing, fills the structure and keeps the appearance matte.
