What is Lavasteen Seamless Floor?

Lavasteen Seamless Floor is a 2-component system based on concrete stucco and epoxy: an A-component (base mass with pigment) and a B-component (epoxy hardener).

After mixing, a firm, spreadable paste is created which you distribute manually with a trowel. This way you maintain control over texture, appearance and movement.

You choose the desired concrete look. Unlike a classic epoxy resin floor — which self-levels — Lavasteen Seamless Floor offers more control, so the look matches your space exactly.

Self-application – steps

Work step by step according to the instructions. This prevents costly mistakes and maintains control.

1. Substrate stable and level; use an epoxy primer if necessary.
2. Mix A-component homogeneously; add B-component and mix for 2–3 minutes.
3. Apply the first coat thinly and evenly with a trowel; remove tape.
4. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours and check for flatness.
5. Apply the second coat: steady strokes for uniformity, more movement for character.
6. Allow to cure again (24 hours). Sand with 80-grit: briefly for anti-slip, longer for smooth.
7. Finish with a PU topcoat for protection and anti-yellowing.
